You don’t know what to expect when you are there or what will be expected from you. Well, let me assure you, you only have to be you! So relax. You can participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. No one will judge you or criticize you. We only care about you. Our deep desire is that you know the reality of God’s love that is found in Jesus Christ. If I were you, I wouldn’t be looking for a ‘perfect church’ experience, but I would be looking for a ‘forgiving church’ experience. This would be one where I would not be valued because of what I do, or who I am, or what my appearance is, but it would be one where the atmosphere would be inviting, accepting, and meaningful. I would be valued because God values me. This church is made up of people just like you who have found meaning for their future…in Jesus. From time to time, a church finds that the Spirit is calling them to rebuild and revitalize, and to boldly step forward with new plans. This is where we are right now. One thing we know is that we are called to be a place of welcome, a place of healing, a place of refuge from the world, a place that serves the community, a place that gives glory to God. Perhaps you want to be an active part of our planning and movement. Bring your ideas.
